# Welcome

Welcome to **Mug Club** — an onchain social club rooted in metaverse culture, community, and collectible mugs.

#### Start here

1. Read **Quickstart**
2. Get a mug (or join free public channels first)
3. Activate your access in Discord and beyond

#### What you can do without a mug

You can still participate in many experiences, including public Discord channels, parts of the Decentraland community, and selected community events.

#### What mugs unlock

Owning a mug unlocks special abilities and enhanced access across Mug Club spaces.
